Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
It’s being used to monitor end to end transactions. We are able to reduce MTTR thanks to Dynatrace, we use slack alerts for the problems.
- User tagging.
- Slack alerts.
- Backtrack feature.
- End to end transaction view.
- It should release its Exadata agent as soon as possible.
- With RUM implementation, if an application is getting broken, Dynatrace should disable it and send a message.
- The APIs needs to be enhanced.
- It should provide Splunk-like capability to create dashboards so that I don’t have to ingest its data for dashboarding.
- Reduced MTTR.
- Able to see which user is facing the problem.
It was an organizational decision to go with Dynatrace as it fit the need of wider organization, but [moving forward] Dynatrace must implement updates to allow for integration with Oracle packaged products and Exadata agents.
