Overall Satisfaction with Essbase Cloud

Essbase Cloud is being used to replace our on-prem Essbase system which caters to many functional areas including finance, planning, sourcing, HR, etc. It is being used for reporting purposes at both the granular level and executive level. It solves the analytical, reporting, and what-if scenarios. Planners also use it for data input and scenario analysis.

  • The transition of on-prem to cloud
  • Support could be better
  • Quick transition from on-prem Essbase to the cloud.
Essbase Cloud is well suited for data analytics. It could be better at providing more user-friendly reports, charts, and graphs report integration. Would like the capability to drill through more robustly with various databases not only limited to Oracle databases. Essbase Cloud is well suited for a medium level of tech-savvy users.
