Overall Satisfaction with Genesys PureCloud

My company resells the Genesys Cloud solution to customers who are in need of a full-contact center solution but do not want the footprint of having a lot of physical hardware on their premises to manage.
  • Genesys Cloud offers companies to interface with their customers on the channel of their choice and is always being updated to include the latest and greatest technologies to further enhance the customer experience.
  • Some of the newer cutting edge technologies, such as Apple Business Chat, are made available to other platforms first. With the new development strategy of building cloud-based services, PureCloud could be made to leverage these are the same time as other platforms, such as PureEngage Premise.
  • Genesys Cloud offers a simplistic licensing strategy as opposed to its other Genesys counterparts. This allows customers to know exactly what they are buying, and helps them choose the appropriate level based on their needs.
My company resells both Genesys Cloud and Cisco Webex Contact Center (CJP). When comparing the two solutions, the Genesys Cloud solution has more included features, such as WFM, and is more open on its telephony interaction availability. Cisco Webex Contact Center is primarily geared towards customers who have a heavy Cisco footprint, including inbound telephony. Genesys Cloud is more universal in its support.
I left this at an 8/10 based on the fact that some of the newer features are not brought to Genesys Cloud at the same time as other Genesys platforms,.
