Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

It is currently being used by the charitable department of our organization. It is being used for several different events: one for tickets and registration and two online auctions.

Pros

Cons

  • Managing contacts.
  • Simplifying the "start" and "end" process of the campaign.
  • Less strict back-end functionality (ie: changing the name of the contact person, EIN, charity, etc.).
  • Enhancing design functionality of an event page.
  • Generating tax receipts and their design.
  • Check out process - could be done "in bulk."
  • Providing clarity on reconciliation and check out process.
  • Providing better explanations (error messages).
  • Improved internal efficiency.
  • Better organization.
  • Streamlined communication with donors.
We transitioned from 501 Auctions to GiveSmart, as the company merged. GiveSmart offers a more user-friendly, customer-friendly platform. Overall, we are very happy with GiveSmart.
The support is timely in response an always has the solution. We also like the "queue" feature in the chat.
Our GiveSmart account representative is very helpful and timely in response.
GiveSmart's design is fresh, relevant, simple and clean. It's a bit restrictive in total design capability, but it suits our needs.
Auctions--online, silent, in person silent. The software is really well suited for fundraising auctions.
