Overall Satisfaction with Gumlet

Our online coaching program delivers most of the educational content using videos. we now host over 1000's short videos using Gumlet embedded to our platform, so far no issues with streaming and quality. due to large number of videos as well as bandwidth requirement, we chose to switch to Gumlet after considering limits by other video hosting companies. the interface is pretty simple, so its quite easy to get around it. other features are a bonus, in which we haven't fully explore.
  • good customisable video player options
  • easy upload with thumbnails
  • streaming is fast
  • ability to add 'call to action' to video
  • organizing folders can be better, currently it's done as playlist
  • honestly nothing else to complain for now, maybe our use case is simple
  • save on recurring costs
  • maintain our own branding
As mentioned, if you require video hosting with higher limits and personal branding, without the additional features which you probably don't use...just go for Gumlet! streaming quality and speed is top, didn't encounter issues and no complaints from clients since we started hosting with Gumlet. you can test our their free option first.

i think if you're needing huge limits number of videos & bandwidth (or even unlimited) to host your videos then this is your perfect choice. as their plans are based on video length, not by no of videos or total storage like vimeo or Wistia. the only thing for me is the lack of folders organization which is missing. this could be a turnoff for some users. for most, the starter or growth plan is more than enough. but if you want extra features like live streaming, screen recording, advance editing etc. then it's not so suitable.
