Overall Satisfaction with HighBond by Galvanize

The Internal Audit department is utilizing it to document its annual SOX assessment and other IA activities. It helps provide a central repository for documentation and supports collaboration, facilitating on-demand reporting. The risks, controls, procedures, results, and observations are all maintained in HighBond.
  • HighBond is great for managing requests, to do’s, and review notes
  • HighBond is generally flexible with the configuration and terminology you can use.
  • HighBond is a good tool for centralizing risks, controls, test plans, and procedures in a framework that allows you to standardize its usage.
  • There’s a bit of a learning curve for reports
  • Report structure is limited and so it forces you to pay for ‘impact reports’ instead of allowing customers to have more freedom in report design
  • The dashboard lists every step in your business process (or area) instead of showing progress by phase. For example, if you want to know where you stand in a business process, it counts every step within the control (for ex. walkthrough, test plan, interim, final). So a process that has 10 controls will show you how many steps out of 40 are completed ( 10 x 4) which is not helpful.
  • Analytics/robotics is not set up by default and you have to have them set up hosting for it (even if you already paid for the package).
  • You cannot have customized dashboards automatically updated somewhere. You have to go into the reports module and double-click the report to run it.
  • The storyboard feature is very limited and isn’t linked to the reports module as mentioned above.
  • Reporting
  • Project management
  • Workflows
  • Collaboration
  • It has saved me time generating status reports
  • It has saved me time in coordinating with others to obtain information, since it tracks requests and sends reminders
  • It saves time with to dos and open reviews to keep track of tasks to be completed
HighBond is more flexible than TeamMate with its workflow, project management, configurability, and reporting capabilities. TeamMate was not good at coordinating requests from the business. It did not have good notification features to support project management (review notifications, etc) and its reporting capabilities were basic at best. It did not allow you to generate visuals out of the tool.

No

Yes

Would you buy Diligent One Platform again?

Yes

It’s well suited for managing projects, SOX, audit, or other, where you need collaboration and workflow capabilities. It creates some nice simple charts and reports (bar charts, stacked pie charts), which export nicely in different formats, which can be shared with others. You are allowed to grant contributor access to others you work with to upload information, but you are also able to request info without granting someone a contributor license.
