Overall Satisfaction with HotSchedules

We use the application across the whole business, it provides scheduling updates, messaging, availability, communication, reporting, daily logs, employee reviews, percentage and productivity based scheduling, and forecasting. We use almost all of the aspects of the system to integrate with our POS and employees and provide a digital database for records and follow up.

  • Uses data to provide sales based scheduling.
  • Is user-friendly and the IT support is very personal.
  • Integration with Retention POS sales, employee info, etc.
  • Providing more of an open sales data reporting for businesses open past 12 am.
  • More communication during the process of fixing integration and coding issues with businesses experiencing issues between POS and HotSchedules.

It is definitely more user-friendly in the aspect of these systems, but does not provide as accurate and error-free reporting. The reporting systems that I have used prior QSR especially, has much more data comparison reports and is easier to customize, but scheduling is definitely not as easy.
It is well suited for the majority of businesses open during normal operation hours, not well suited for businesses open past normal hours or after 12am. It cannot compute the data correctly and will add 12am sales on the next business day, and subtract from the business day after 12am and so on.
