Great availability so we have no downtime for users
high performance so people don’t leave our site due to frustration with slowness

IBM Cloud Bare Metal is great in scenarios where you need high availability and high performance, but of course this comes at a cost. If someone needs a simple static site obviously they are not going to use bare metal. But if you are running a web app where performance and availability is critical, it makes a lot of sense to go bare metal.
