Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud File Storage
We are using virtual desktops for client support and we use IBM Cloud File Storage in almost all the processes of storing disk images, user data, backups, etc.
- Easy to configure and access
- Secure and stable storage
- High speed and demand LUNs
- Sometimes customer service is helpless [from my experience].
- [I feel] the interface to manage the NFS share is not user-friendly.
- We are using IBM Cloud File Storage as a central file storage.
- Quick interface to allow more servers to share the file storage.
- Simple file system sharing.
- Easy to migrate.
- Migration of data is a bit tough.
- Difficult to manage access for uploaded files.
- Amazon Elastic File System (EFS)
Yes, we are heavily using the AWS Cloud platform and they have a managed NFS service called Elastic File System (EFS). With our HA architecture, it works really well for us.
