In my organization IBM virtual server is used to capture data. We have EDMS- Electronic document managements system for capturing electronic, E-log book for capturing activity data, QMS software, LMS and Saba software all on IBM virtual server. The problem solves is we don't have to maintain out onsite server as we have virtual server. My organization both primary and secondary server is of IBM. IBM provides us great service, security and large space to capture our. With pharma 4.0 digitalization is in all pharma industry, with this the use of server will increase.

We also use VMware licensing and support cost is better of VMware. However both have easy to use application for management of server. Security is better of IBM.
Yes data availability has improved a lot, before it use take a lot time on management of past data of drug product. With IBM data is available in max one day. This help us a lot in resolve out market complaints which sometime also involve recall of drug from market which is equal to saving patient life. Before it use to take months some time because of unavailability of data now date wise data is available on sever which is easily accessible previous batch data helps us in investigation and make right decision of drug to be sold in market or not. overall IBM have made a huge impact on pharma industry.
Onsite sever maintenance required high cost, and extraction of data from it used to takes weeks. With IBM server the time has come down to a day. Which naturally helps us to extract more accurate data automatically in system with respect to search of data on onsite sever. While searching data on onsite server human error used to happened. Now with IBM the human error is zero.
