Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro

We use JAMF Pro to manage 485 Mac computers, 3035 iPads and 210 Apple TVs in our district. We have 1:1 deployment for grades 5-12 and classroom sets or check-out iPad carts.
  • JAMF Nation and the support it provides to clients but also the ability to share information with others
  • Inventory - very easy to pull inventory information on the devices that are deployed and monitor what software and version is installed on them
  • MacOS Configuration - Used in combination with DEP, makes it easy to automate the setup of computers for staff and students.
  • Location tracking for when a device is lost or stolen
  • Customer support - the timeliness of getting your issue addressed and/or response time from technician
  • Patch management is lacking
  • JAMF Pro has been a positive ROI for our district. We have one staff member that manages the system and allows our technicians to easily learn the system and manage their devices without sending them to training.
Jamf Pro is one of the leading MDMs and is well suited for educational institutions. It is a very powerful program that easily manages mobile devices.
