Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro
We use Jamf Pro to manage all Apple devices across our two university campuses. In the past, Apple devices were either unmanaged or managed in a patchwork style.
- Self Service is an amazing and awesome feature we can now offer our users. They are able to install and make system changes without need for admin access or a tech to hold their hand.
- Without the old imaging process, we can now deploy all software and required settings in record time.
- iOS devices have never been so well maintained, and we can make changes quickly and efficiently using Jamf Pro.
- Device level mdm for computers. Not-outdated user-level mdm would be great. We don’t use directory accounts, and we don’t want to have to enable mdm for users on the fly, as it breaks user-approved mdm.
- Being able to install apps and patch at the login screen, especially after first boot, would be a huge boon to management.
- Adobe is never going to change how they install software, and is one of the most popular software suites used on Macs. It would be great if Jamf would work with them to find an easier way to install and manage their software using Jamf policies.
- Techs are spending less time on refreshing systems.
- Installing new systems is almost zero touch.
- iOS management means less time dealing with users who remove required software or add improper software.
