Overall Satisfaction with JAMS

We use JAMS for a variety of things. We use it to automate: Scheduling for SAS Data Integration & SAS EDW Triggers within our environment. Scheduling of server tasks such as cleanup and maintenance tasks w/ PowerShell. Movement, SFTP, and Archival Tasks associated w/ a variety of different files throughout our organization. Email tasks to end users about job statuses. We're constantly learning new ways in which we can use the JAMS Scheduler and making process improvements within our organization on a daily basis.
  • Job Scheduling
  • File movement/management
  • Encryption/Decryption with PowerShell Modules
  • Sequence viewing for wide parallel job triggers.
  • Reduced the need for employees to perform many functions, thus saving valuable time and money.
  • Reduced the need for employees to do redundant tasks that must be completed daily.
  • Increased the availability of jobs/files around our organization that must be delivered on a specific schedule 24 hours a day.
Between PowerShell scripting (our primary language used), VBS, SQL connectivity and functionality, Command Line execution, SFTP functionality, encryption via PowerShell modules, etc. JAMS allows us to scale our usage of the software to levels that were initially not foreseen. It's great to have a toolset that allows us to be able to automate tasks that weren't realized before using the software.
JAMS customer support is the best customer support team that I have ever engaged with regarding ANY software that I've ever used. Hands down, I have never seen a team of support professions that respond as quickly as JAMS support. Additionally, they will work with you to reach a resolution, whether it be a question of how to do something, or helping to answer questions related to functionality so that you're left w/ additional knowledge that ultimately opens doors for new ways in which to use the software.

Do you think JAMS delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with JAMS's feature set?

Yes

Did JAMS live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of JAMS go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy JAMS again?

Yes

I use a lot of PowerShell scripting with JAMS. There isn't much, considering, that I have yet found that has limited me with JAMS with regards to file manipulation, file movement in our local environment as well as SFTP jobs. The more we learn, the more heavily we rely on JAMS to perform tasks within our organization.
