Overall Satisfaction with Jenkins

We use Jenkins for CI/CD.

Pros

  • Setting up pipelines.
  • Integration with other systems like Github/Bitbucket.
  • Single Sign-on.
  • Granular Permissions.
  • A lot of plugins for almost everything you need.

Cons

  • The interface can be better.
  • Upgrades are tricky.
  • Installation and set up are a bit tedious.
  • Single Sign On, User Management, Granular Permissions.
  • Shell Scripting for custom build and deployment processes.
  • Integrations with source code management systems.
  • It has automated our deployments, reducing a lot of manual effort.
  • The speed of our code integration and deployment has increased a lot.
  • Simplified managing applications for different environments.
Didn't really check other tools in detail since Jenkins served all our requirements and has been hugely popular.
