Overall Satisfaction with JobBOSS²

JobBOSS² runs on the cloud, and this makes it easy for our staff to use. We use JobBOSS² as our ERP system. This allows us to plan and control the flow of the product being manufactured. Scheduling is used to assist with the tight schedules and outside processors we work with within our industry.
  • Scheduling of jobs based on many different options
  • Easy Maintenance, no upgrades
  • Quoting is done well
  • Orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Inventory management
  • Provide Support with more than an email contact or call back abilities, phone extensions to get direct to the support person assisting.
  • Require support to follow up even when a call has run over on time - let the closed call be decided by the customer.
  • Data Collection could use an easier way for the operator to access the documents, for example, setup or inspection paperwork
  • Scheduling has improved how we plan our resources.
  • Lowered IT costs and no need for servers.
  • Labor metrics provides tracking and time management of our staff.
Integrating as much as possible into one product helps with efficiencies. This makes it easier for our staff and reporting metrics.
We use Quickbooks for the accounting system. The syncing of the two systems has run reliable without any issues.
JobBOSS² is much less complicated than Epicor system since it requires lots of server hardware that is costly and specialized.

Production manufacturing and machining would be strong points. JobBOSS² has some options to grow into other ECI products or 3rd party vendors. These offer options for inspection, quoting, accounting, and scaling the business to many locations. A good example for a small business owner could use Intuit Quickbooks and move into JobBOSS² accounting as the business grows.

Using JobBOSS²

47 - About every employee in the organization uses JobBOSS2. We use it not only for an ERP system but also for a time clock. The times then easily integrate with the payroll system. Data collection is used to monitor the flow of manufacturing progress. Quoting is used to start the quote and plan the manufacturing steps. Inventory is used to track our product and locate it.
1 - The company has one person, and they mostly contact support when a question arises. They contact JobBOSS2 and create a ticket by website or phone. Once the ticket is logged in a support staff from JobBOSS2 contacts the correct people who need the questions answered. JobBOSS2 is easy to support since it is web cloud based.

The staff enjoy the use of JobBOSS2. We don't have many complaints or issues with the software that are not solved. Support for the product has been improving and that is important for long term success. The cloud application is continually being developed and updated. New abilities are being added to assist with the customers that have strict requirements things like governance items.
