Overall Satisfaction with KeePassXC

KeePassXC is our go to password manager. We needed a tool in our organization to safely and securely store all our users, database passwords and SSH login credentials. And this tool fit our need perfectly there. Now we had a big security breach last year and the issue was caused by employees storing their passwords in excel sheets. We had to get on with the time and use a proper secure password manager and we chose this one.
  • Password Manager
  • MFA
  • Works offline which is appreciated
  • UI
  • UX
  • MFA
  • Password Manager
  • Offline availibility
  • It increased our organization to use MFA for all employees and we know how important that is. So I can safely say security got a 100% boost.
  • Great to use password manager.
I would say the MFA feature is better on KeePassXC compared to Google Authenticator as I said Google Authenticator didn't have option to backup our recovery codes at the time. So I would rate it higher. However with regarding to Bitwarden I can safely say they are both neck and neck as they offer similar feature set. I did however liked Bitwarden's UI so if KeePassXC can improve on that it would be appreciated.

Do you think KeePassXC delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with KeePassXC's feature set?

Yes

Did KeePassXC live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of KeePassXC go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy KeePassXC again?

Yes

KeePassXC for us worked very well as a password manager and I highly recommend it for the same. But it also works as an MFA tool which is in our opinion the best feature. We used to use Google MFA before on Android the issue was that Google's Authenticator app didn't take backup at the time for recovery codes. So let's say one employee was upgrading their phone to a new one all the recovery codes would be lost. This issue was fixed by KeePassXC for us.
