Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

1. Adobe is expensive. 2. Providing a signature remotely. Half of our staff is fully remote. More than half of our clients are not local. 3. US Mail is not reliable. 4. Clients provide information in pdf that needs to be edited in Excel. 5. Pdf files require edits.
  • Signature feature -drawn and standard fonts, plus the ability to save multiple signatures. 2. Typewriter feature. 3. Edit feature. 4. Lock out editing.
  • Signature feature- photo. The background comes up gray and needs to be white. The software needs a feature that removes the gray background and conserves the signature. 2. Convert to excel - the format is not as expected. Needs some troubleshooting. 3. Convert to editable - comes back with unexpected boxes, needs some troubleshooting.
  • Cost savings
  • Time savings
  • Ability to sign on behalf of my boss with his permission
It is easy to use. I didn't have to spend extra time on training.
Only Adobe. Kofax is very similar and approximately the same quality.
I haven't used it a lot, but when I did, the representative explained the issue accurately. However, the last representative I spoke to had a heavy accent that was difficult to understand.
