Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

This excellent piece of software is highly recommended which we have been using for years. It is used everyday in practice and is an excellent tool to collate large documents, arrange them and most importantly have them prepared in bundles which are acceptable to the Judiciary. I would be lost without it.

The setup is extremely easy-to-use and once familiar with its layout, is 2nd nature. The Windows style interface makes it familiar from first use. The easy to find help function also assists in discovering new features. I would not change anything about this product and as an investment, has paid for itself many times over.
Power PDF is faster and a far better product than PaperPort. PaperPort crashes multiple times per day which is time-consuming and frustrating especially in the middle of an activity. If they can sort out PaperPort's glitches, it would be a fantastic program however, it appears that the recent releases have made the platform unstable causing it to close unexpectedly
So far I have not needed to use the support function as the software works exceptionally well. The help function in particular assists and would often need you to discover functions that were previously unknown to you.

Kofax PaperPort (formerly Nuance)
The collation and pagination of documents is invaluable. The way that you can bespoke the pagination means that you can add a professional slant to your presentations. An invaluable tool which we use frequently.
This software is indispensable for any attorney practice. The old way of collating trial bundles manually would often take many hours, be time-consuming and be labour-intensive. This software does the same process within seconds. Trial bundles are produced easily and we have had many compliments from the judiciary on the professional production of those bundles. Making a good first impression to any judge is clearly the first step in successfully winning your client's case.
