Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

We use Kofax in our accounting & HR department. We edit text, fill forms, insert/extract pages, etc.
  • Text editing.
  • Creating & filling forms.
  • Adding/inserting and removing pages.
  • Adding electronic signatures.
  • I can't think of anything off the top of my head. It really meets all the needs I was hoping it would.
  • Easy to use/low hassle.
  • Time savings.
It was very easy to use! Set up was simple and easy and it has been very user-friendly in my experience.
I don't have much experience with other specific programs. I have used Bluebeam some, but it is created for Blueprint reading/marking up/etc. Kofax is much better for my uses.
I have not had to utilize the support at this time - which means it's a great product, but I don't know how the support is.

I really like the form filler & typewriter. I wish the typewriter text formatting was a little more intuitive though.
I really like Kofax for basic office/administrative uses. It is not super technical compared to some PDF programs we use for reading & editing blueprints, etc. But much more user friendly when it comes to editing text, creating fillable forms, signing documents, etc. It is also easy to redact documents, use the type writer tool, etc.
