Overall Satisfaction with Linode
We have been using Linode VPS services for many years now for hosting various platforms and custom operations, after trying various other providers and being let down a colleague recommended Linode to me, what a difference! With regular upgrades that increase performance, full control that is second to none, and fast hosting throughout the world I'd not hesitate to recommend them. We currently have several VPS in operation, both in production and beta testing. Best by far that we've come across.
- Control, from SSH to their own browser based console.
- DNS services that work well as secondary, supporting ip4 and ip6.
- Ease of selecting packages to suit the user's needs.
- Some 'in between' options would always be useful, though not critical as the options are pretty good already.
- Uptime.
- Stability.
- Performance.
Value is as expected, yes it's a teensy bit more than the budget operators, but stability is the biggest improvement here.
Very important, critical appliances run on our VPS, as a backup to our local server, in testing, it takes over and does exactly what it should.
