Overall Satisfaction with Little Green Light
We are a mid-sized non-profit and we use Little Green Light (LGL) as our primary CRM database. Our primary use is in our development department where we track and manage donations as well as tracking our internal and external relationships. We also use the native forms for our online giving and event registrations.
- Easy to use - Can be set up fairly quickly.
- Powerful but not overwhelming- It can do nearly everything you want from a database but you don't need to have a dedicated staff managing it.
- The mobile site is nonexistent - Not usually a major problem but can be when trying to access information away from a computer.
- Support is only via email and to get a good response you need to have precise questions.
- Good tracking of constituents.
- We can easily code incoming online gifts which saves processing time.
- Raiser's Edge NXT
I used Raiser's Edge previously, it was more robust but was not as easy to quickly upload tasks and assign them to stewards. However it was easier to process gifts on Raiser's Edge and we were able to double-check all gift coding before committing batches, without slowing down the workflow which is not something you can do on Little Green Light. Overall for the cost, LGL provides a better value.
