Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Lucidchart is being used primarily by the product team for the purposes of workflow and product design. It is the quickest way for us to generate clean visuals that we can iterate on as a team. We have also used it to generate diagrams to be included in sales collateral as visually it tends to be more appealing than PowerPoint diagrams.
- Workflow and state diagrams for product design
- Quick mockups of sales collateral visuals
- Entitlements hierarchy maps
- Custom shapes could be easier to create
- Importing large images loses resolution
- Could use a little graphic to show when line arrows overlap each other if one is skipping over the other
- Time savings for diagram iteration
- Cleaner output and visuals in shorter time
- Shareable diagrams that team can leverage
We do not use integrations very much. The core application is what we use most often. That said it is helpful to know that there are other integrations available.

Lucidchart is easier to use than PowerPoint and generates cleaner visuals. A big part of this is due to the intuitiveness of connecting lines to boxes or shapes and having the flexibility to move points of connection on any shape and easily create new lines out of shapes. A small but powerful feature which allows quick mockups of diagrams in comparison to opt which can often be frustrating to use.
