Trying to use lucid to onboarding employees!
Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
[Lucidchart is] currently being used by the operations department to design and share growth plans, company structure proposals and capacity planning.
Personally i am testing a new approach now by creating a comprehensive flowchart on every step needed to edit a video ad at Readyset, that will be used as an onboarding tool for video editors starting in the company.

Pros
- Take pictures from copy paste instead of having to manually input a file
- The ability to see others users perspective, in other to check flowcharts readability.
- Have numerous shape options, specially linked to services we use, like AWS
- An incorporated image browser! Yay!
Cons
- Sharing is not too clear.
- Better visibility in how in the company is actually in my team and who needs to be invited
- Loading time on extensive charts
- Time saving in onboarding employees, in a context of exponential growing that is key
- Clarification provided while sharing complex ideas remotely
- Excellent collaboration yo allow my team helping me in time tight situations
We honestly just use the Slack integration and it has been sloppy and not very helpful to use. I appreciate the ability to send invitations through the app, but half of the time the link does not even appears on the chat, and I end up creating a share link and copy pasting it
