Overall Satisfaction with Marketo Marketing Automation

It is used by the marketing department to address marketing automation- it allows us to communicate with our customers and prospects on a regular basis, and keep track of and evaluate that communication as well.
  • Customer service - love my account manager
  • Addresses ongoing needs of marketing dept- ie: the Spring 2014 release of the marketing management suite
  • Webinars- excellent thought leaders, quality content
  • The system can be extremely slow - especially if you have a lot of data. They recommend you use Chrome and it does help but does not always address it
  • I get a lot of calls from different sales people doing cross sell or upsell and sometimes it is confusing. They should communicate better across their sales organization
  • Increased employee efficiency
  • Better data management - the filters and segmentation have forced us to enter better data

Marketo is more user friendly- easier UI. I definitely learned it faster!
It does take a lot of management so there needs to be a strong admin that will handle the database, oversee the organization of it and be super hands-on regularly.

Using Marketo Marketing Automation

I vetted all the competitors last year and stayed with Marketo then. After my experience at University and the Summit I will definitely continue to use it.
