Overall Satisfaction with Namely
We use Namely across the entire organization for HRIS, payroll, and performance reviews. Our relationship with Namely started in 2017 and we have encountered many challenges since we switched from our previous provider. We have gone through about 10 client success/pod managers in 3.5 years. The biggest problem I have is with the system capabilities and customer support.
- The interface looks attractive.
- The mobile app is very user-friendly.
- Payroll previews are available in real-time.
- Namely's customer service is the worst I've experienced. The representatives are not on the same page, and they frequently provide different answers, depending on who you speak with.
- You can not run a report with data for active or terminated employees as of a certain date. You have to manually adjust a lot of their reports to get what you need.
- The system can not accommodate our 401k matching scale, so everything is manual.
- We've had to work to gain back our employee's trust after using this payroll system. I believe this has negatively impacted how employees view our payroll department as a whole.
