Overall Satisfaction with Nutshell CRM

I started using Nutshell CRM when I was Director of Sales and Marketing at DJG Investigative Services, Inc. I since have moved to the Operations department but remained available to teach the marketing team how to use Nutshell and other programs. For us, it addressed the problem of organizing leads.
  • Ease of use
  • Designed well
  • Cloud-based
  • Very costly for a small business
  • Takes a while to learn all the features
  • Cloud-based (both positives and negatives)
  • Better organization saved time
  • Lead management increased revenue
  • However, cost outweighed the benefits.
We used Salesforce trial, but that was way too costly. We started using Nutshell CRM out of necessity, just to get organized and it seemed easy to use. We now use InfoFlo, simply because it is computer-based, unlimited installs, and a one-time cost.
I think Nutshell is well suited for companies that are more 1- or 2-man operations, working from home situations. I think for us, it was a better value to just buy a license at a one time fee, and be done with it. The never-ending monthly charges were exhausting.
