Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service
Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service (OBICS) is used by the data team in my organisation as the primary tool for data integration, data extraction, reporting, business intelligence, and data visualisation. OBICS works well even with a large quantity of data, and also handles integration of data from multiple source well. It is easily a market standard in this domain.
- Handling data from multiple sources
- Dealing with large volumes of data effortlessly
- Easy to onboard new users, even those who are not familiar with SQL
- Performance of the tool: While Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service (OBICS) can handle large volumes of data as well, it becomes quite unstable and slow when number of concurrent users is high.
- Limited visualisation options for reporting.
- Difficult to integrate with other non-Oracle tools. This is especially needed since visualisation options are limited.
