Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

We are running multiple services for our customers who rely on fast responses from the servers. We use a container tag to deliver online advertisements to our clients. Within the container, we have APIs that deliver user/site information. Delivery and collection of that information is very crucial and should be done in miliseconds. That's where Oracle Dyn shines. It had the quickest response time that we tested.

Domain management for these services is the first most important part of the structure. Response time is really important to us. Oracle Managed DNS makes it very easy to set up and run flawlessly in no time.

  • In the advertising industry delivery of assets is the #1 priority, and it must be done fast. Oracle Dyn makes it happen.

We've analyzed GoDaddy and Amazon services, but Oracle DYN Managed DNS makes them look very weak. When you look at single requests and very minor changes, it makes no sense for spending big bucks for such services. But when you multiply by millions of daily requests, they add up and make a huge difference.
Customer service is great. Their response time is quick and questions are always answered. Communication is easy, not invasive, and there are no issues that go unsolved.
Oracle Dyn Managed DNS is very easy to use, has a great interface and no extra styling or scripting that makes the interface unusable like in most other interfaces I've seen. For some users, I would add tipping points of some sort (or maybe there are and I haven't seen them yet).

Domains are right there and you don't need to look for them in multiple other interfaces. All of the other domain sites are clunky. You have too many menu options and features before you get to the domain. With Oracle Dyn Managed DNS, you see them all right away in a simple list. No need to jump through hoops to get to domain and DNS settings. When you need to make quick changes that affect all of your customers because a server goes down, every second matters.
Pricing could be a big decision-making factor, especially when you could get some of the same basic features for free. Where Oracle Dyn Managed DNS shines is with its service and responsiveness. There's nowhere else you can get it.
