Overall Satisfaction with Otter.ai

For business meetings where a lot of planning is set in motion.
  • Keeping meeting notes.
  • Indexes Topics
  • Playback from script.
  • Automatically logs onto meetings listed in my calendar.
  • Customer service is terrible--zero customer interaction.
  • Billing system is questionable--was billed for two other accounts just because they were connected to my company.
  • Slow to take care of billing issues.
  • Record keeping
  • Builds a knowledge base
  • Reference
  • At least 2 hours wasted time dealing with billing issues
  • 100% stress and irritation trying to fix it.
  • Recordings have helped me go back and clarify processes on several occasions.
I really can't compare because I have not used other products as of yet, but oh I will!

Terrible customer service. I nearly cancelled my account due to errors in billing and no communication. First, Otter.ai began sending out invites to anyone in my organization without my permission, approval or knowledge. The next thing I know, I'm being billed for two people I do not even know. They were within my company, but still. I contacted Otter.ai the only way you can, which is by creating a response from within your account log in. I reached out twice and NEVER received an acknowledgement. However, the two other accounts were credited back, but no response about that either. No apology, nothing. I probably will not renew and will find another similar company with better customer service.
