Overall Satisfaction with Pega 7 Platform
Pegasystems is being used by 2 Departments in our organization. In one department we are using it to streamline different client onboarding platforms and centralize them in 1 framework. This would give us more control over the data and documents collected during onboarding of different clients. It also makes the onboarding process more efficient and transparent.
- It is able to build a process pretty quickly and make an executable application. It gives business users a good visibility of the process
- It manages to synergize the BPM and BRE very efficiently within a tool and makes architecting of a business process easy
- Case management is a very strong component of PegaRULES and can handle very complex processes fairly simply by breaking them into smaller components(subcases) yet maintaining visibility of the overall process
- It is fairly easy to write and rewrite code; it is built for change and more attuned to support agile development
- Performance Analysis is very UI-specific; it is difficult to get performance matrix of Service call
- Locking mechanisms have lot of restriction
- Upgrading from one version to other is always very cumbersome and bug ridden
- We were able to save $$ by being more compliant to Fed regulations because the process was made more transparent
- The ability to churn out applications within a very short period of time made client trust us more
