Why PrinterLogic should be heavily considered

Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

PrinterLogic is used in our print serverless environment to ensure our printers are installed based on each location's IP schema. I like that it refreshes every 4 hours, including that our default b&w and duplex printing profiles are reapplied after each print. It's been great to reduce costs by minimizing color prints. We also use their Secure/Pull Printing feature to fill in where we had none. This will help keep sensitive documents out of the wrong hands.
  • Simple Printer configuration and setup
  • Excellent SNMP reporting
  • Simple mass deployment of their installer
  • The Control Panel App was a hassle to configure on the back end for deployment, and I felt that I spent far too much time troubleshooting. Once the back end was sorted, it has mostly been smooth sailing with mass deployment
  • I do wish that PrinterLogic could provide UPDs for most manufacturers
  • AirPrint Support on Macs would be nice, instead of just iOS
  • It has reduced the number of tickets for printer related issues (for clients with it installed) to near zero from several a week (175 employees)
  • It allows techs to pull printer information in seconds instead of minutes
PrinterLogic just functions, has excellent support and is easy to understand and navigate

Do you think PrinterLogic delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with PrinterLogic's feature set?

Yes

Did PrinterLogic live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of PrinterLogic go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy PrinterLogic again?

Yes

If you have any printers or users, then PrinterLogic is an excellent option to consider as it's low cost (a per printer price) is fantastic small barrier for entry. Initial configuration without Secure/Pull Printing features can take just minutes (Input Printer Name, IP, add drivers and set deployment). If you need advanced features, they offer them, and don't push them on you.
