Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Managing multiple large structural projects with Procore, having the ability to keep everything from daily reports, safety documents, RFIs, submittals, and drawings all in one place helps create efficiencies between the field team and the office/management side. The ability to send out any changes or "quick reaction tasks" immediately allows us to avoid the long paper trail and time-wasting communication.
Pros
- Tagging RFIs/Submittals/Changes to the drawing pages so they can be easily seen and accessed by field personnel
- Ability to upload photos directly to plan location
- Syncing with existing accounting programs to automatically update project budgets
- Customer support, instant help from Procore team
Cons
- Procore does not talk to Procore! If another Contractor on the same project has their own procore account, information cannot be shared easily between the two accounts
- Schedule module is not easily manipulated or changed
- increased efficiency
Sage 300
Allows multiple foremen on large projects to all enter input for their crews and photos for the same project, which is a huge time-saver instead of having all of this information have to travel through the PM and then painstakingly input, each foreman can do it right from their iPad or phone.
