Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

The HR HelpDesk is great, has a timely turnaround, and finds the answer if they don't know how to answer. We will be using the Handbook Wizard this next year so more to follow on that.
I use ADP run for my payroll processing and I really like the software; it is just what SDI needed. We were with a larger PEO before but we were paying for services that we just didn't use, so it was really a waste of company money. I can definitely find other things to spend that money on for our employees.

Pros

  • Processes my payroll in a timely manner.
  • Easy to use.
  • If I have issues or questions the service personnel are very responsive and helpful.
  • Employees can see real time PTO as well as Sick hours that are available instead of asking me

Cons

  • My overall time that I would spend trying to break out charges on the other services invoices was time-consuming, I don't have that any longer.
The employees are responsible for keeping their information, taxes, address, etc. up to date and it makes it so much easier for them to do it from their own sign-on instead of funneling to me to have to take the time to make these simple corrections/changes.
We were with the TotalSource branch of ADP which is a full PEO service. medical benefits kept going up so I changed to Trinet and thought I would save some money 1st year. I did, but after that, I experienced the same increases. Then I went to Synuity where we had service issues and medical benefit issues with a lot of hidden fees in the 401K plan so I went back to shopping. I saw RUN Powered by ADP® and was sold the 1st time I saw it. I can tailor the services that I need or want and go from there which is saving the company a ton of money each year.

The whole experience from onboarding and bi-weekly payroll processing has been great. The RUN Powered by ADP® solution was exactly what we needed as a small firm. Large PEOs were just too expensive and I think we got lost in the shuffle.

ADP Run solutions is exactly what SDI needs to get payroll done in a timely manner and to make sure that taxes are filed and paid correctly and on time

Evaluating RUN Powered by ADP® and Competitors

Yes - we were with a PEO and the fees were increasing year over year without any additional support or benefits to the company. Run gives me exactly what i need to get payroll done and i can move on to my other duties without worrying that there is more to do.

the system is user friendly and i can always get in and do what i need to do and if i can't i can put in a service request and someone will help me get through what i need

my accountant suggested a change to how we were reporting the partners insurance benefits so that it would make it easier for them to calculate an amount that is reported on our tax forms. I tried to do it without help but got stuck so i put in a ticket and someone reached out right away to help me get the deductions coded the correct way for end of year reporting on our W-2's. a happy accountant is always good
every time that i have needed assistance someone has been available to help me solve my issue right away ... with other providers this has not always been the case.
