Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Intacct is used by the entire organization for all locations (4 total) and departments. It is our only accounting software. We use the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules. The AP module can be used to make payments from our bank account. We also use the reporting system for P&Ls and Balance Sheets.
- Customizable reports. Can really create exactly what you need once you learn the reporting system.
- Intuitive to use. AP and AR Modules make sense and you do not need much training to be able to understand them.
- Can log in from anywhere in the world!
- The 'new' Beta version of Intacct is missing things like creating location groups, we have many location groups so this is crucial. This is a consistent issue, having to switch back to the 'old' Intacct to perform certain functions.
- Reporting system could be easier and more intuitive, it is very 'coding' like.
- ROI has been neutral. We have had this software for awhile and do not want to change softwares.
- Many of our employees work remotely so in this capability, Intacct is perfect. + ROI due to flexiblity of work locations and hours.
Our organization currently does not use any automated core financial processes.
Our business model includes many entities, and the multi-entity module has worked very well for our company. We are able to use Intacct for one entity or for all, and it is great that you can toggle between windows of different entities. The system opens up a new window for each entity.
I have not used or evaluated any other products like Sage Intacct.
