Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Our Finance and Accounting department are using sage Intacct. We generate Financial Reports for our BOD and use it for our day to day operations to record transactions. We are using it for Forecasting, Budgeting, and running Customized Reports.
  • The Depreciation module does a great job of running depreciation schedules and automatically reconciling for our monthly closes. Past systems I've used was a nightmare and manually had to do the reconciliations.
  • Running GL reports are also very user-friendly and can be used with ease. I know some other systems are not as easy to use.
  • Creating customized reports is a huge benefit. We can generate what we want and how it looks to our audience — a significant strength in the Sage Intacct system.
  • I believe the Prepaid module needs work. I have come across duplicate errors. There isn't a good reconciliation report for this module.
  • I would like to see a reconciliation report for most GL accounts if that is possible.
  • An Automated Reconciliation process within the system would be ideal, and I have seen that this may be possible in the future.
  • We were able to create BOD reports in a way that was suitable to our President and CEO of the company.
  • We can centralize our processes in Finance and Accounting in the system and use other software, like Tallie, to integrate our procedures.
As an example, we automated our expense process using Tallie and can upload all these expenses from Tallie to Intacct, making the process seamless and easy to use. This has cut our time working on expenses every month by days.
We are just now going to be using a multi-currency module from Intacct, and we will see how that goes.
Going through an integration process right now with an acquisition. We are trying to move the acquired company to use our system, and so far, the integration has been going well.
I have used Quickbooks, NetSuite, GreatPlains, and so far, I have liked the support and resources Sage Intacct has offered. If you cannot find an answer, there are always resources that Sage Intacct provides.
I believe Sage Intacct can be used for a lot of start-ups and mid-level companies. I also think Sage Intacct may be suitable for large companies that have a reliable workflow. This is a very user-friendly system that is easy to navigate through and has lots of resources to assist you.
