Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct as our accounting system. It is a system for a smaller-sized company and performs most of our accounting functions. We do all our AP through Sage and it has enough functionality to support that function. We also use Sage for Prepaid Amortization & Fixed Asset Depreciation.
- General Ledger
- Journal Entry uploading
- AP
- Prepaid Amortization
- Fixed Asset Depreciation
- Reporting
- Too early to tell
- Seems to be affordable compared to other systems
- User friendly
I just started and we have not really taken advantage of the automation features that Sage Intacct has to offer. The Prepaid Amortization & Fixed Asset Depreciation auto-posts to GL but the process is not very intuitive. Ap module is pretty straightforward and I do not see an opportunity for workflow approvals or three-way matching.

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics GP are both accounting systems for small to mid-sized companies. I would say Microsoft Dynamics GP is a more robust system that can support a larger company and the Sage Intacct is a less involved system most suited for a company on the smaller side of that range.
