Sage Intacct Help Modernize our Accounting Processes
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct as our general ledger. We switched to it so that we could use a modern cloud-based accounting system. We wanted to be able to integrate to other systems, which Sage Intacct is able to do with many different third-parties. We use its electronic approvals to help us track where purchase orders and AP bills are, which is much better than when we were doing it by paper. We were also able to improve our fixed asset tracking by using a module in the software instead of Excel.
Pros
- Document attachments
- Integrations
- Dimensions
Cons
- Reporting could be more flexible
- Vacation delegation for AP Bills
- Budgeting and forecasting was too simple for our use
- We were able to speed up our reporting by being able to create some reports within Sage Intacct instead of Excel
- We were able to eliminate a lot of paper by integrating Expensify and getting rid of paper employee reports
- Being able to review documents within the related journal entry saves time tracking documents to where they've been filed
We have benefited from automation by eliminating a lot of paper documents and manual tracking down of invoices. We are able to see where approvals are in the process by looking in the software instead of needing to track down the paper invoice or email. We are able to create invoices within the system and then apply payments against them, eliminating the need to create paper invoices and track what is open.
