Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our new accounting software, it will replace using Sage. We will be using it to record PO's, Purchase invoices and the approval system included within it. We will also being using AR to raise customer invoices, advances and payments. We will also use the cash management, which links to our live feed of the bank to reconcile the bank more accurately and in real time.
  • Imports to bulk update supplier details
  • Approval processes for PO/AP invoices - being able to have different levels of approvals and it to be recorded within the system
  • Links up to Barclays bank to create live feeds for reconciliation
  • Reconciliation for bulk advances in AR - they automatically allocate and usually incorrectly. Would be helpfully to be able to see full list of advances and invoices raised to be allocated with ease and accuracy
  • Templates - To highlight more easily which columns are required to be filled in to make new imports easier.
  • Include more valid country codes into suppliers payment details
Within accounts payable PO's and invoices are automatically sent via email to be approved by the approvers that are included within the approval policy selected. The approval policies can be set up per department, which can include levels based on values if needed, meaning invoices can be sent to a 2nd approval if the 1st approver can't approve the full value.
Even though there are parts of Sage Intacct which we easy to pick up and understand, there were parts that needed some more explanation, so we did require help from the vendor when configuring Sage Intacct. The major issue was knowing where to get templates for the imports and understanding what columns could be deleted and where the values we required needed to be placed

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Being able to have multiple entities open and available at the same time is convenient and reduces the time you waste logging in between companies, which I've experienced when using Sage. Also having an approval process for PO's, AP Invoices and payments, which is recorded within the system is great for audit trail. However within AR advances and adjustments, they can be automatically allocated and can be difficult to reallocate due to not seeing all advances and invoices on the same screen.
