Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used as our complete accounting software. We started using Intacct in Jan 2024 and i use it in my role as assistant accountant to assist with month end prep, bank reconciliation and accruals/prepayments. The duplicate and reverse journal entries is massively helpful as it cuts out a lot of the manual correction time that was required previously.
- Bank reconciliation with the automatic bank feeds
- Journal duplication
- Reversals
- ease to unallocate applied payments in accounts payable
- Handling of intercompany payments seems a little difficult
- Menu options being able to be set to a default e.g. 'Inception to date' has to be selected every time on a customer/supplier account
- The software has allowed us to speed up our overall processes meaning we can prepare a set of draft accounts for our operating sites within 10 working days of month end. This is an improvement on our previous average of 15 working days.
We are still learning how and what to automate as we are fairly new users
