Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

SAP Analytics Cloud is used as a reporting tool for financial reporting, planning and budgeting. SAP SAC is also used as a KPI reporting tool for key KPIs within the organization. SAP SAC is also used by business users to design and develop their own SAC end user stories and dashboards.
  • KPI Reporting and use of numeric graphs
  • Ease of measure formatting and calculating of key figures based on individual reporting requirements.
  • Sharing and broadcasting of Stories
  • Data slicing and dicing capabilities could be more intuitive for use.
  • Data transforming while uploading from local file server could have more ETL options
  • Ease of table functions, on similar lines to SAP Analysis for Office.
  • Single source of truth for reporting data from non-SAP systems
  • Seamless user experience for KPI dashboards
SAP SAC is an excellent front end reporting tool for data from SAP sources. It provides many data management options at each SAP SAC story level, where end users can determine and customize their reporting experience. It is a challenge to get familiar with the user/interface especially where users come for long experience in excel-based tools.
