Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Network
We use SAP for everything from purchase of pharmaceutical raw material to release and dispatch of medicine into market. SAP solves our business problems like maintaining inventory, release of raw material after testing for further batch processing, release of in process and final test results, its shows real time status of batch which saves lots of time, it is super easy to use. After final testing of product all results are up-loaded in SAP and as and when batch is packed and release into market. SAP keeps all inventory of manufactured, discard and dispatch products. SAP helps us in maintain record of batch manufactured and in preparation of important document like APQR i.e annual product quality review.

- SAP should come up with AI chatbot for new learner, as it will help fresher to learn fast.
- Lots of batch data is generated in SAP, if SAP will allow to perform data analysis like 3SD and nelson rule than we don't have to buy other software like Minitab to perform the data analysis.
- Still in pharma industry's integration of SAP is less with manufacturing equipment, i would like to see how SAP can help us in that.
- Time is money it saves lots of time
- It is user friendly and save lots of data which helps us to check all batch data in one click.
- There is no negative impact of SAP, it gives us more than return of investment
Yes it help us a lot on collaboration with trading partner. Our trading partner give orders to our marketing team based on that order marketing team generate PO(process order) in SAP. As soon as PO is generated production team at plant start working on manufacturing of product all batch manufacturing related transaction is done in SAP. And our marketing team can keep a eye of batch manufacturing as soon as batch is manufactured it is released in SAP and dispatch to customers. SAP has made everting possible for us.
Pharmaceuticals product require cold chain, with SAP our packing can perform all task online with no delay in dispatch of product in market. As the batch is released we can plan the dispatch of product with SAP due to which we can have on time cold chain vehicle at our site for dispatch of product into market. It helps us a lot in planning of dispatch due to which we are able to perform hassle free delivery medicine to patient.
Biggest impact of SAP is in management of inventory due to which online order can be taken from trading partner. We know how much is the requirement of medicine and how much is the stock is available. It gives us clear visibility that how much we should manufactured monthly to meet our supply and demand. It helps us in way we do not over produce its just save our cost.
Sorry but i have not evaluated any other application apart from SAP. I believe it is the best app.
