Use Cases and Deployment Scope

we are service support and SAP partner. We manage customer 's SAP products technically along with database and also support upgrade and Migration projects. We have also done on premise ,neo migration as well to BTP. Also we use cockpit to manage HANA database ,backups , admin task , user access etc.

Pros and Cons

Integration with SAP products and third party products as well.
HANA database services. Very reliable and consistent

sometime access to BTP becomes slow and start and stop particular services take time. so here they can improve.

Positive :- Integration is very easy . Integration suite is already available.
Price - You can select subscription method as per your need. and can save money.
many services they provide for free and for trial you can 30 days to plug and play.

Usability

First thing we can say is we can schedule start and stop any particular services so if we donot use any particular service we can stop it and that is how we can save money. Maintenance becomes very easy for example database side we donot need to worry about disaster and recovery , SAP manages DR quite well .
So many inbuild services are already there which can be directly use. so development of new thing is also not required in many cases.

Support Rating

SAP has great support portal where we can create incidents and SAP helps as required. We get best support from SAP and also technical person helps very well. We can also allow SAP to enter our system and check and work on the issue so dedicated expert will come and help. of course we are in control how much should be given.

Third party integration is quite simple now and for that Integration suite is available.
HANA database on cloud is very much fast due to in memory mechanism. Cockpit is good feature to do admin and user security and maintenance very easy.
SAP has several subscription option as well which can benefit customer to use services as per their need. You pay what you use.
