Overall Satisfaction with SAP Litmos
SAP Litmos is being used across our entire organization at FordDirect. The system helps address compliance by having our employees read, attest, and complete an eLearning on all of our required policies. In addition, it directly impacts digital learning, personal and professional development and also aids in our annual organizational learning challenge where we have implemented badging and gamification for the first time.
- Great customer service and account representatives to help support our team.
- Wonderful response time with answers to tickets that we submit.
- Willingness to listen to your customers to help improve your product.
- Improved search function/capability - searching for courses or users is particularly tricky sometimes if you don't include the exact verbiage in a course, etc.
- There is currently no reporting options on gamification levels. For a company that is currently using badging and gamification in the system, this seems like it is a missing feature.
- Reporting in general could be cleaned up a bit and made a little less confusing. There are 100 ways to run reports currently and every time I do it I have to sit, think, and play around with what I want included in my report in order to make sure I capture the appropriate data.
- Being able to download a course after uploading it. For example, if I upload a video or a SCORM file from a vendor and I lose that file in my email, I am not able to download the course package from the settings menu. It only gives me the option to upload a new file to the course. It would be great to have the ability to download the file in this particular instance.
- After assigning a course to a team you are not able to un-assign individual users from the course. We run into this issue so often when we want to just remove ONE person but are unable to because "it was assigned via teams." This would be a really convenient feature to have.
- SAP Litmos has increased employee engagement tremendously since we first launched our LMS. I recently ran reports on live events from 2019 with an attendance of 20 employees vs. 2021 where attendance was well into the 100s for live events. The LMS enables us to track attendance for live webinars as well and run reports which is extremely convenient.
- The implementation of SAP Litmos was also instrumental in our attainment of SOC II Type II certification. This was a tremendous success for the entire organization and reflects FordDirect’s commitment to ensuring the security, confidentiality, availability and privacy of data in our care. Most companies attempt SOC II Certification for one application, we attained our certification for four applications - Consumer Connection CMS, Delivr, One Integrated Platform and Vehicle Locator Plus.
- We implemented SAP Litmos for our full company mid-year of 2019. Each year we do a survey that asks our employees whether they feel they have an opportunity to improve their skills at FordDirect. Our end of year results for 2018 reported that only 57% of our employees agreed. By the end of 2019 this number had jumped to 80%. In a few short months, digital learning had made its mark. By our one-year anniversary in April of 2020, amid a global pandemic, our team was poised to easily and effortlessly share critical information and protocols with our staff.
- Prior to the implementation of Litmos, our company had no digital learning and all training was in person and instructor-lead. Our learning records were tracked on paper, and all reporting was done manually. This was particularly challenging for our compliance mandates. Implementation of online compliance learning enabled us to obtain 100% compliance across our enterprise in less than one year. Additionally, we had extremely high adoption of professional development programs with over 5,000 course completions in SAP Litmos during this time. The transformation from in person to digital learning was extremely timely and set us up for success in the era of COVID-19 and beyond to the remote/hybrid workforce we now have.
SAP Litmos is perfect for what we currently need and use it for in our organization: compliance, digital learning, personal and professional development, badging and gamification, annual learning initiatives. SAP Jam is also a great product but for its own reasons; micro learning, collaboration and communication. It is hard to compare the two but every company needs an LMS and SAP Litmos is a really great provider.
