Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is used across the whole organization, in terms of system performance it is way too good compared to earlier SAP ECC system. SAP S/4HANA Cloud addresses the following pain points in the organization: 1) Managing and processing the data especially huge volumes of data. 2) System performance and scalability towards Intelligent Enterprise. 3) Much improved user experience, enabling employee to focus on high-value task and simplified the redundant tasks.

Pros

  • Excellent user experience - simplicity and perform more.
  • Paves way for futuristic technologies to create Intelligent Enterprise.
  • Big Data and Analytics brings the real power of using these data for strategic decisions.

Cons

  • Make the transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud from other systems more clear, presently it's at high level. Like to know how to fit in to different clients and industries, etc.
  • Further simplify amount of data managed, for example, customer master - do I need 100 fields or 20-30 fields? We don't use all the fields.
  • Reduce business process steps by automation or easy click. For example, for order to cash how many steps....can it be reduced to 2-3 steps. Like I create a sales order and click a button to have delivery and invoice created.
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud has good ROI, it directly helps reduce costs by better inventory management, better way of working in a simplified environment.
  • Saves time in doing business transactions resulting in better performance and cost savings.
  • More manageable business operation with right interpreted data at all levels prevents losses in the operations of sales, procurement, manufacturing, HR areas. And better management of finance and costing.
I have chosen SAP S/4HANA Cloud because it's built on strong in-memory computing technology and it gives an opportunity to scale in a great way without limitation. It's therefore a wise investment. And I don't have to change drastically to different technology in future.
In sales, procurement, and manufacturing scenarios SAP S/4HANA Cloud has provided greater simplification, for example it took a long time to MRP run but now it's simplified and it works in 30 min. It's less appropriate when we are using the Fiori apps, that area needs to be improved in terms of having the right apps easy to find and how adopt and enhance them with less effort.
