Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using SAP S/4HANA Cloud with Fiori for Product Life Cycle Management. It is used across the whole organization. We implemented it for all the countries across the globe. This has really helped us stream line the process along with quick access to the data on the fingertips with Fiori tiles.

Pros and Cons

Very quick from reporting standpoint.
A delightful experience with Fiori with its user friendly GUI.
No more dumps when trying to pull data from tables due to its huge in-memory processing.

Due to frequent SPS releases and updates in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud versions, the older version gets outdated very soon. And, it might trouble the user at times as they have to purchase the new update every time and updating is time-consuming.
Limited hardware compatibility makes wanting to use SAP S/4HANA Cloud a costly investment.
Only compatible with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and thus will run only on SAP.

It has great return interms of making process faster.
Less time to implement the solution
One time investment with huge returns.

Oracle Database

We selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud because it is a SAP product. It is a delight to work on from an integration perspective.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is well suited for all the applications that can be deployed on Fiori as that is where real power of SAP S/4HANA Cloud could be leveraged. It should be compatible with other databases as well so that user can experience its power there too with integration. Overall SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a very matured and stable solution for business.
