Overall Satisfaction with Schoology

Schoology is used by the entire district and the entire state as the Learning Management System of choice. It addresses issues of differentiation, collaboration, and communication between teachers in a district as well as with teachers and students. It offers students the opportunity to experience blended and online learning, thus preparing them for life in the 21st century. It also saves teachers time with differentiation, personalization, and tracking mastery.
  • Schoology listens to its users by constantly updating and working to provide a better platform.
  • Schoology is fairly user-friendly and easy to teach students to use.
  • Schoology has so many functions making it easy for every teacher to use it in ways that make sense for them and their classrooms.
  • Sometimes there are too many ways to do things. Especially with special education students; sometimes having too many options is overwhelming.
  • There are some bugs that I constantly have to use workarounds for.

When I first started my journey with blended learning, I used and was hooked to Google Classroom. Although I was reluctant to using Schoology, I was soon turned into the biggest advocate. Schoology does (especially with the new Google enhancements coming) everything Classroom does and more! It is truly the best platform of its kind in both look and functionality.
Schoology has given me the opportunity to make learning accessible for all of my students. I serve a population of students with extremely diverse needs. Schoology and its individual assign feature, as well as the ability to create groups of students, has made differentiating a breeze. This has made it easier for struggling students to still engage in the curriculum and find a voice.
