We wanted a product to scan our environment to determine all devices on the network, whilst also mapping out the connection paths. This product enabled us to view our network topology and all active/inactive ports on our switches. It also assisted with building a visual representation of our environment.

SolarWinds provided a larger suite of features compared to competitors whilst also retaining a friendly user experience. Some other products are not as intuitive or require a lot more clicks to perform a task which SolarWinds Network Device Monitor can perform easier. It allows many users with a lower amount of experience to use the product and perform tasks easier than other products.
