Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It allows for the monitoring of our network and addresses issues without user reporting.

Pros and Cons

Switches off line during various construction phases.
Ability to monitor just about anything on the network with an IP address.
The ability to make heat maps to see your wifi network.

Tracking devices that use DHCP addressing needs a lot of improvement.
Network atlas needs a face lift and stability needs to be addressed.

Return on Investment

It was helpful when building a new network 6 years ago but it is hard to keep it running and it takes too many resources and reconfiguring of our network to make it valuable.
We will continue to use it but are moving much of what we do to Prime.

Alternatives Considered

If we could afford a better monitoring system we would move to it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Monitoring marginal servers for space is something it does well. Notifications may be a bit much at times, there needs to be a hold for now option.
