Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Online

Data from all parts of the organization. Everyone collects it. Everyone creates it. But what does it do for you? Without getting meaningful information from that data. It’s just numbers on a spreadsheet. Dashboards are a really big buzzword in all industries, but being able to take data and turn it into actionable information. This turns all that collecting into something valuable for your company.
  • Data analysis
  • Actionable information
  • Helpful insights
  • Customization
  • Customization and integration know how.
  • Organizational structure.
  • Data entry.
  • Ability to make action while still in the middle of projects.
  • Trend analysis
  • Live data
  • Multi data streams of information.
Googles dashboard suite is very user-friendly and anyone can edit and make changes with very little knowledge or practice. But nothing I’ve worked with compares to the customization and multi streams of data in a user-friendly package like tableau does. It’s a really cool piece of software and I would choose that again.

Do you think Tableau Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Yes

Did Tableau Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Yes

It’s somewhat hard to navigate through its menu system structure if you know what you’re looking for, but don’t know where it’s stored. It navigates like a file explorer so at least everyone can understand it. The dashboards you are able to create can be as custom as you want them. But, it requires that you truly take time to invest in what you want to see and what you deem important
I have no had a lot of experience with the support team, but I know that it’s hardly necessary for the end-user to contact. Usually, the main questions I get are on how to read a certain dashboard or how to navigate to a certain place. Overall, the simplicity of the software is what helps out with less need for support.
This is a great piece of software for organizations looking to gain insights on the great data they spend so much time and money gathering at the highest levels possible. This is not something for someone looking for something simple like what you might be able to achieve with a simple database. This truly shines when bringing in multiple databases and stores of information.
