Overall Satisfaction with TeamGantt
We use TeamGantt in the IT department only. Since we exclusively work on Mac computers, it is the best option we could find since MS Project does not work on Mac. It is also great when sharing with others outside the department or even with vendors/partners outside the organization. It is easy-to-use, especially being a web-based tool - as you can imagine, having an intuitive UI/UX for Gantt charts on the web is no small feat.
- Adding project tasks/milestones.
- Adding/associating task/milestone dependencies.
- Task assignment matrix is a bit clunky. It's a bit difficult to see distribution of work for each assignee, but not impossible.
- Being able to schedule projects and estimating timelines on Mac computers.
- TeamGantt is the best web-based Gantt chart solution I have found.
- Smartsheet and GanttPRO
TeamGantt is geared towards creating a project, tasks and timelines. It literally took me just a few hours to create an entire project the first time I used it. I found it much more user-friendly than other online tools such as Smartsheet (which is a one-size fits all type of solution) and GanttPRO.
